Designer. Artist, Visionary & Storyteller.

Kelsi Drew Howard is a Los Angeles-based Assistant Art Director whose eye for design was shaped by two prestigious institutions — a Bachelor of Architecture from Howard University, where she graduated summa cum laude, and an MFA in Production Design from the American Film Institute Conservatory. Since then, she's built an impressive body of work across film and television, most recently serving as Assistant Art Director on Wizards Beyond Waverly Place and Vampirina Teenage Vampire. Her work on Bunk'd earned her a Children's & Family Emmy Award, and she has received multiple ADG Award nominations for Excellence in Design. Inspired by the dreamlike worlds of Federico Fellini and the craftsmanship of Dante Ferretti, Kelsi brings a thoughtful, story-driven approach to every space she helps bring to life.
Beyond the set, Kelsi is a working artist in her own right. Through her business, Kelsi Drew Design Shop, she creates custom skateboards featuring her original paintings and sells fine art prints of her work — bridging the worlds of functional design and fine art with the same intentionality she brings to her film work. She also shoots on 35mm film, finding beauty in the patience and unpredictability the medium demands.
When she's not designing or creating, Kelsi can be found cheering on women's sports, swimming, biking, and spending quality time with her family. She's an avid collector of vinyl records and books — a natural extension of a life deeply rooted in storytelling and craft. Looking ahead, Kelsi's vision extends well beyond the screen; she aspires to design across all mediums, from film and fashion to live events, bringing her signature blend of architectural precision and artistic soul wherever the work takes her.
